On Friday 16th April 2010, Arklow Business Enterprise Centre in association with Waterford Institute of Technology hosted a Business Information & Networking event by way of celebrating five years of enterprise progress.  The guest speaker was the legendary Mick O’Dwyer whose theme was “Motivation in Challenging Times”.

Arklow Silver Band Christmas CD'09 PDF Print E-mail

Arklow Shipping Silver Band will launch their Christmas CD "Brass at Christmas" in Arklow Business Enterprise Centre (ABEC) on Thursday 17th December 2009 at 7.00 p.m. all past conductors and members are welcome.

The CD was recorded in the wonderful acoustic setting of ABEC during October. The Band wish to thank Vincent McCarthy, the board and staff of ABEC for all their assistance and help in getting this CD to market. Arklow Business Enterprise Centre have very kindly sponsored the band for the cost of producing this CD.

Paul Barrett did the recording and subsequent mastering and  the Band are eternally grateful to him for this. Danny O'Brien designed the CD Inlay and Artwork and they were printed by Easy Duplication Ltd. The CD contains many Christmas favourites such as Sleigh Ride, Jingle Bells, Gaudete, When a Child is Born and many more. There is a wonderful arrangement of the Wexford Carol arranged specially for the Band by Michael Casey on it.

The Band will be selling these CDs, at a cost of €10, when they give a free concert in the Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Arklow on Saturday 19th December commencing @ 2.00 p.m.

ABEC Launches their new website Feb 2007 PDF Print E-mail

The Arklow Business Enterprise Centre has teamed up with a leading website development company, Jenerate Limited in order to provide them with a new and modern website to aid in show-casing their services and facilities.  The new website has many great features such as an event and course management section, the ability to book or enquire about affordable workspace or meeting rooms and many more.
